New Blog – RandyBerry.com

by randy on June 1, 2010

Beginning today my new blog site at randyberry.com will be the container for my book writing and Internet marketing activity updates. I have gone over to a WordPress theme called Socrates. I will spend a lot more effort on SEO refinements on the new blog. The first plug-in I have installed to support improved SEO is All in One SEO. I will try to provide updates of this and other plug-ins that are intended to improve your experience on my blog. Today RandyBerry.com’s appearance is quite vanilla. During the next few weeks I hope to beautify it while keeping the content dense, relevant and hopefully interesting. I welcome your visits and comments!

Joseph Olesh of Flicker Films, Straight Down Clothing and RonsMap

May 24, 2010

I was pretty nervous during my interview with Joseph Olesh of Flicker Films. After all he was living the life I was supposed to have; film producer, educator and Central Coast Guy. Here is how we started off the interview -

Bruce Jones of Maps for Design and BJ Designs

May 20, 2010

Bruce offers what I believe to be some very unusual maps – PowerPoint maps that are editable – and he promotes them with video marketing. Here is an excerpt from my interview with him which is featured in Volume 2:

Bettina Hein of Pixability – Slick Production Values Emasculate Authenticity for Video Marketing Messages

May 17, 2010

Bettina Hein of Pixability represents – at least at the time of my interview with her – the polar opposite of hiring a TV/Film production crew to get the message of your organization out there.
“We came up with the idea to send out a flip cam, allowing the customer to shoot their own footage.  When [...]

Online Reputation Management – Like Herding Cats

March 22, 2010

I grew up in Minnesota and worked at ice skating rinks and Baumgartner’s grocery store. Our Midwest culture was very much keep your head down, work hard and retire and get a cabin on the lake.
Fast forward about 40 years and here I am sitting at a fancy coffee shop, drinking vitamin [...]
