With the Mac hardware and OS platforms driving Standard Definition compression used by the video marketers I have interviewed to date, it was interesting to find a practitioner who uses Windows and Matrox hardware accelerators to speed up encoding, rendering and exporting of High Definition files.
Shawn uses a Sony HVR-Z7U that lists for $6850 USD. I don’t think Shawn owns a Flip cam.
Shawn began his career shooting for events but has transitioned to Video Marketing. Shawn expresses his thoughts about YouTube in the full interview for the book.
